About this artwork
This piece is reminiscent of Isabelle's childhood in northern Canada, where her playground was the forest, rivers, mountain ridges. She loved to skip stones across the water, to dip the greyest of rocks she found into flowing water to discover their true beauty. There was such simple pleasure in these things. Looking at art creates a ripple effect - a simple pleasure where you engage, then you feel, then you reflect, and hopefully you think and feel a little bit more. It's a Ripple Effect is 12" x 12" x .25" acrylic and mixed media on a birch wood panel. It is framed in a natural maple wood floating frame to measure 13" x 13" x 1.5".

She has been invited to show her work in 2025 for the forth consecutive year in the highly prestigious juried art show, the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts. Isabelle's work has also been seen in the art magazine American Art Collectors, she was the first ever abstract artist interviewed on the renowned PodCast the American Art Collective, and her work has been seen a host of Conde Nast magazines, including Vanity Fair, and World of Interiors.
