About this artwork
An abstracted still life. Still in the cooler months, the artist longed for the heat of summer. She invented a warm looking abstracted bouquet, and then another one. Summer will arrive, even if it happens sometime in Autumn!
Color is a delicious element to play with. As an artist who adores color, Moscariello feels completely at home arranging and rearranging colorful compositions to create a unique and happy experience for herself and other viewers.… In this instance the floral paintings were created to generate a feeling of summer or late spring when the flowers are in bloom and butterflies and bees abound in the garden. Jaye’s husband is a farmer and plants many plants to attract beneficial insects and pollinators. Because the weather was unusually cool when she painted Floral, which is the first of the Floral series, she longed for all of her nature friends, blue skies and warm days!
Jaye Alison Moscariello harnesses water-based mediums like acrylic and watercolor, influenced by a creative upbringing and artistic journey. Through abstraction and intuitive color selection, she captures the interplay between forms, with lines that articulate deep-seated emotions. Her art resonates with joy and upliftment, transforming personal and worldly complexities into visual harmony.
