About this artwork
March-September was begun in March of 2023, when it seemed unresolved as a piece, she set it aside, and said "I'll deal with you later!!!" It began as the hope of Spring, when the first flowers are just an idea, in this Siberia of Massachusetts :) she was dreaming about California spring, when the roses might be coming back. Here in the Berkshires, it didn't seem as if Spring would be coming anytime soon. Filled with that hopeful/hopelessness, she… stepped away from this series for a few months, and taking it out again, she looked at the work and began painting brushstrokes of the lush late summer colors in each one of these pieces. There are four in this subseries.I This particular piece is painted on gessoed art board. #lilac #orange #grey #yellow #graphite #worksonpaper #abstractpainting #brightcolors #goeswithanythingart #floral-abstract #autumn-summer
Jaye Alison Moscariello harnesses water-based mediums like acrylic and watercolor, influenced by a creative upbringing and artistic journey. Through abstraction and intuitive color selection, she captures the interplay between forms, with lines that articulate deep-seated emotions. Her art resonates with joy and upliftment, transforming personal and worldly complexities into visual harmony.
