About this artwork
In this work, I sought to capture the ephemeral essence of a distant and mysterious nature. The acrylic layer was then covered with a blue-grey oil glaze, leaving visible scattered discoloration of the first layer, achieved using a spray gun. The resulting speckled effect makes the work vibrant, much like the dynamic brushstrokes. The use of oil enriches the textures, creating a depth that seems almost alive. The soft hues invite introspection, evoking… calm and serenity. It is a haven of peace to hang in your home, offering a new detail to discover each day.
Between abstraction and the evocation of reality, my works explore how matter, color, and gesture can convey experiences rather than fixed representations. Nature is omnipresent, not as a descriptive subject, but as a language. It becomes flow, vibration, and space. My work constructs a progressive reading of perception in 3 series. INNER LIGHT brings together luminous works in which floral forms are simplified to create living compositions, capable of engaging with contemporary spaces while retaining a strong pictorial identity. INNER LANDSCAPES explores landscapes as interior spaces in motion. Nature is suggested through fluid structures. Each work becomes a mental territory, between memory and perception. More conceptual in nature, STATES OF BECOMING explores the process of transformation of form. The works capture intermediate states between appearance and dissolution.
