About this artwork
I painted Ruby's Bowl as part of my ongoing nature series. The title comes from the vary small turquoise ceramic bowl near the centre of the painting which my granddaughter gave to me form her own pocket money many years ago now.
My immediate surroundings both within my home and and in my garden inspire and delight me. My home and gardens and the objets in them all hold a particular memory - nothing is without worth and everything has a story
