About this artwork
This work was born from intense longing and a hopeful anticipation. I used sand to create an earthy texture and pigments to capture an atmosphere charged with metaphysical emotions. I wanted to capture the profound connection between the figures, symbolizing patience and the eternal cycle of life. When you have it in your home, you will feel an energy that invites reflection and a sense of time standing still, like a sigh suspended in the wind.

Lola Saavedra is a painter who graduated in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid in 1987. She uses experimental techniques and highly variable styles, from allegory to spontaneous expression, exploring life symbolically and drawing inspiration from music, movement, and landscapes. Her works radiate freedom, spiritual beauty, a deep connection with nature, and a vibrant energy capable of moving and connecting with those who view them.
He has created various murals for Galician public centers and urban art projects such as Ruartefest (A Coruña, 2019) and Meninas de Canido (Ferrol, 2017).
His work is in the collection of the Xunta de Galicia, as well as in various private collections in Spain, Italy, and Morocco.
