About this artwork

This is my first painting, from a series dedicated to women, but not the usual hotties, to special, interesting women, outside the usual, sometimes banal, canons of contemporary beauty.
this painting “Gender”, represents an androgynous beauty, with Freddy Mercury's jaw, lips like the Rolling Stones logo, and Guido Crepax's Valentina's hair.
