About this artwork
"Perception #3" is a work of calm, but not of stillness. I wanted to paint blue as a living material, exploring its different depths, its silences, its vibrations.
The shapes are simple, but their encounter is raw, almost mineral. The edges are irregular, assumed, like the traces of an interrupted movement or an internal dialogue. Each shade of blue becomes a territory, a breath, a mental space.
This painting is an attempt to reach the essential.… A balance between presence and emptiness, matter and light. A slow, almost tactile perception of the inner world.
