Morning Whimsy
[Sanctum series]

"Sanctum" is a series of paintings where I just want to find reflection and expression among mostly flat color, simple geometry and ambient mood. These painterly works are meant to present imperfection in an atmosphere where the desire for perfectionism is born. Fragmented moods, memories & sensations emerge when I lose myself and I try to meet them at the flat surface of the canvas. I hope… the viewer is also able to find contemplation and objective calm in these childlike places.
