Echo Loom No. 1 explores the meeting point between memory and material. A fragment of patterned textile, once soft and domestic, is fixed into concrete — a substance associated with permanence and urban weight. The object captures a moment where tradition is neither preserved nor erased, but transformed.
The printed carpet surface appears partially buried, as if history is emerging through layers of time. The contrast between softness… and solidity reflects how cultural memory survives: altered, fragmented, yet persistent. What was once woven by hand becomes an imprint, an echo rather than a reproduction.
This vessel stands as a quiet dialogue between past and present, craft and construction, intimacy and structure. Echo Loom No. 1 is not only a container for flowers, but a container for traces — holding the tension between what endures and what changes.
