This work explores imprint as a state of being rather than a surface effect. A three-angled concrete form carries the visual memory of a carpet—captured from a digital pause and carved into mass. What once suggested softness is translated into weight, where pattern becomes pressure and decoration turns into evidence.
The carpet effect functions as a cultural residue, compressed into concrete through repetition, technology, and… time. It reflects how identity is not constructed freely, but formed through traces—screens, traditions, and environments leaving marks on matter and memory alike. The geometry sharpens this condition, refusing comfort while preserving recognition.
Imprint Condition invites the viewer to confront permanence in an age of passing images. It stands as a frozen moment where touch is denied, yet impact remains. Here, the object does not represent memory—it bears it.
