Industrial architecture is a wonderful place to pause and reflect. A place once bustling with people working, sweating to provide a service, suddenly falls silent. But it's only a seeming silence. Just stop, look around, and relive the life that has pervaded it for decades.
That interplay of lines running in various directions is a gift to the photographer. Everything is contained within the walls of this abandoned factory: from the engineering… of its construction to the heavy labor, to the various tasks that took place to ensure the continuity of the company.
The shades of gray are the result of the search for a black and white, still nuanced, even if slightly, so as not to lose sight of the contact with a reality of a bygone era.
