Sometimes there are moments that jump out at you without warning.
That photo came to me like game emerging from the woods and surprising the hunter:
an ordinary street corner, and suddenly this solitary silhouette, under the snow, illuminated by a neon "SOS" sign flashing like a discreet call.
In a fraction of a second, the big city with its shop windows, its reflections, its usual indifference faded away to give all the space to this small piece… of humanity that is going through the storm.
I was captivated by that moment, drawn into the footsteps of this person with their back turned, with the very clear impression that, behind that coat and hood, there was all the fragility and all the dignity of the world that continued to move forward, no matter what.

Pascal Clément, a passionate photographer and visual artist, offers unique works in a limited edition of 4 copies. His artistic approach is based on the woven photography technique, an approach where each photograph is carefully cut into thin strips and then woven by hand to give birth to a unique composition. These images intertwine, creating an effect of texture, depth and movement that transcends classical photography, offering a nuanced expression of identities and perceptions. Pascal enriches his art through many years of learning, both self-taught and academic. Through the WOVEN technique, he fuses precision and emotional intensity, paying particular attention to humans, nature and the spontaneity of fleeting moments. His works demonstrate a deep empathy and genuine admiration for the beauty of humanity, revealing the richness and complexity of suspended moments.
