About this artwork

Here is a glimpse in my mind. This is what I see most moments of the day. Well...partly. 3am is inspired by all the thought crossing my mind all the time. I am pretty sure lot's of people can relate to this. When you wake up at 3am in the morning and your head is going everywhere. One million silly thoughts combined with serious ideas. Most people loose their mind when the experience this for a while, but I like it. It inspires me. As long as I keep… painting and drawing it is al fun and games. And the result is a beautifully strange and bright colored 200 x 200 cm (78,74" x 78,74") painting.

Painted with Amsterdam, Windsor & Newton, ARA acrylics, different types of spray paints (Amsterdam, Molotov, 94, MTN), graffiti ink, Molotov and Posca marker and Amsterdam mat varnish.
The style is a combination of graffiti, neo-expressionism, pop art and semi-abstract.
I've added a video in which you can see the process. Well...partly... It took around two months to complete :)
