"Andromeda Blanche" is a composition that interprets Andromeda in a modern, cinematic-dark style.
The young woman is portrayed as a mixture of vulnerability and strength.
Her slender, almost sculptural body contrasts with the monumental architecture that surrounds her.
The staging, characterized by soft skin tones and the severity of the dark marble structure, evokes an atmosphere between imprisonment and sublimity.
The pose with raised, bound… arms is reminiscent of classical depictions of the mythical Andromeda, who was to be sacrificed to the sea monster.
But contrary to the myth, the protagonist not only seems exposed, but also self-confident in her presence.
