The chicken is a domesticated form of a wild chicken from Southeast Asia and belongs to the pheasant family. Its comb comes in many variations, from simple to fan-shaped, to knobby, or with horns, to cup-shaped.
My chicken has a jagged comb and fan-shaped, finely detailed plumage. I think I've managed to capture its posture and expression quite well.
