« I want my pictures to be understood in such a way that, upon closer inspection, empathy arises. »
Alexandra Weidmann is an artist based in Germany whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Denmark, the United States, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey, and Belgium. Fascinated by colors and the creation of the illusion of movement, her works explore the fundamental questions of being human. In addition, Weidmann portrays areas of tension between confrontation and cooperation.
