Barbara Schwinges
Germany
Barbara Schwinges uses drawing, painting, and calligraphy; her artistic path was shaped by early work as a technical draftswoman and studies in visual communication. She combines technical rigor with the fluid, emotional language of calligraphy and often works without aids, directly from the moment. Her works, especially minimalist architectural drawings and calligraphic portraits, reveal emotional resonances and challenge the viewer to experience architecture and personality as a living presence. Her art conveys depth, thoughtfulness, and a subtle poetry of perception.
