« I’m exploring my relationship with reality and womanhood in both my art and life; within it all, I see angles and curves, depth and flatness, coolness and warmth. »
Hazel Miller is an exciting American talent whose works have featured in exhibitions and prizes in the US and Canada. Drawing inspiration from observations in daily life, such as passing thoughts, moods and feelings, she composes works that focus on the nature of perspective, the female experience and the concepts of internal and external body and mind. Sometimes gestural and loose, sometimes representational, each of Miller's paintings showcase minimalist polish, subtle colour shifts and and a standout aesthetic signature.
