Life has many layers.
I am self-taught and paint the way I live: freely, curiously, and without a fixed set of rules. In my mixed-media art, I intuitively combine colors and materials until a vibrant, new story emerges on the canvas.
"I paint life – in all its facets."
My paintings emerge from an interplay of intuitive letting go and courageous action. I layer colors, scrape them away, and paint over them again. This creates a depth that mirrors real life: we, too, only gain our personality through everything we experience and endure.
For me, painting is the best proof of our resilience, because it is an act of creativity that helps us to cope with adversity and show our inner strength.
With my pictures, I want to encourage people and inspire them to see the positive aspects of change.
