Munteanu Dragos Catalin
Romania
Munteanu Dragos Catalin is a Romanian sculptor working primarily in bronze and stone, drawing from a lineage of stone masons and rigorous academic training. His expressive, often sketch-like figurative works and zoomorphic themes are shaped using raw, almost primitive techniques like chainsaw and axe, fusing hyper-expressionism with romantic sensibility. His sculptures explore human emotion, the dynamic tension between fullness and emptiness, and capture a haunting, sensitive beauty born from perseverance and obsession.
