This sculpture channels the raw energy of transformation and resilience through the rich textures of bronze and stone. I aimed to capture the tension between emergence and decay, where the vibrant turquoise patina breathes life into the rugged, timeless stone. It brings a powerful, contemplative energy to any space, inviting viewers to explore strength within fragility and the beauty in evolving form.

Munteanu Dragos Catalin
Romania
Munteanu Dragos Catalin is a Romanian sculptor working primarily in bronze and stone, drawing from a lineage of stone masons and rigorous academic training. His expressive, often sketch-like figurative works and zoomorphic themes are shaped using raw, almost primitive techniques like chainsaw and axe, fusing hyper-expressionism with romantic sensibility. His sculptures explore human emotion, the dynamic tension between fullness and emptiness, and capture a haunting, sensitive beauty born from perseverance and obsession.
