I chiseled this bronze and stone sculpture to capture the raw, evolving essence of the human form. The rough textures and golden highlights express strength and vulnerability entwined. It brings a powerful, grounded energy into any space, inviting viewers to reflect on transformation and resilience. This piece is a celebration of imperfect beauty and the spirit’s enduring grace.

Munteanu Dragos Catalin
Romania
Munteanu Dragos Catalin is a Romanian sculptor working primarily in bronze and stone, drawing from a lineage of stone masons and rigorous academic training. His expressive, often sketch-like figurative works and zoomorphic themes are shaped using raw, almost primitive techniques like chainsaw and axe, fusing hyper-expressionism with romantic sensibility. His sculptures explore human emotion, the dynamic tension between fullness and emptiness, and capture a haunting, sensitive beauty born from perseverance and obsession.
