Peisy Ting is a self-taught abstract artist whose work explores the emotional and psychological contrasts that shape the human experience. Drawn to abstraction for its freedom and fluidity, she uses bold colours, layered textures, and intuitive gestures to examine themes of duality — chaos and control, light and shadow, structure and surrender.
Her practice is deeply personal, rooted in transformation. Turning pivotal life moments into acts of creation, Peisy reclaims her story through works that are both raw and restrained, balancing vulnerability with composure. Each material choice becomes a metaphor: texture as memory, gold as fracture, space as resilience.
Peisy sees painting as a space of inquiry — not for resolution, but for reflection. Her work invites quiet, introspective encounters where contrast becomes not conflict, but a threshold: a place where presence, emotion, and meaning quietly emerge.
