Sofía Cristina Jiménez, contemporary visual artist, Madrid. Her work in acrylic on Belgian linen explores the tension between the natural and the artificial through surrealism and visual poetry, in series such as Naturaleza Plástica, Ascendentes y Descendientes and Diorama de Historia Natural.
Carta Puebla 2025 Award. Second prize Sanya International Art Competition. Selected for D Contemporary Award London 2025 and Arts to Hearts 100 Emerging Artists 2026. Selection jury member for Art Maker Magazine.
Permanent collections at Royal Caribbean International and Museo Cromática (Toledo). Exhibited at Art Madrid, JustMad, ART3F Paris, Museo Zabaleta and Casa de Vacas Madrid. Published in Create! Magazine (Issue 56, 2026 International Women's Edition), Art Maker Magazine and Kooness.
