Frederic Andre
France
Frédéric André primarily explores ink, oil paint, and Japanese paper, the result of extensive self-taught research following formal training in visual arts. He blends the techniques of sculptors and painters with plays of color, shadow, and gesture, in a style that oscillates between abstraction and landscape, drawing inspiration from both classical Asian art and the great Western masters. His works evoke transparency and chance, inviting meditative wandering and transporting the viewer into a poetic universe of nuances and profound emotions.
