About this artwork
Free from all thoughts and protocols, his macro photographic approach focuses on the making of images as well as on the shooting, focusing on material and light. This technique allows him to create palettes of patterns and colors which then serve as primary elements for the creation of my photographic or scanographic compositions.

Acrymx is the artistic pseudonym of an award-winning French artist who has exhibited his works nationally and in the United Kingdom. The painter, photographer, and textile artist's compositions are abstract, geometric, and lyrical. Acrymx is primarily interested in the emotions that can be produced through the play of colors and shapes. With the aid of digital programs, he "paints" the photographed image, rendering it abstract and imbuing it with his own unique artistic style.
