This is not a historical portrait, but an act of remembrance: the artist recognizes himself as a leader of a bygone civilization. The gaze, turned beyond the horizon, is directed not into space, but into time — into a life that was lived long ago.
The white feathers are like the light of the setting day; the blue line on the face is the path of the soul,… the river that connects incarnations. Behind the figure is a golden wall with ancient signs: a chronicle of past lives, a text that cannot be read with the mind, but can be recognized by the blood.
