About this artwork
Created with ink on handmade paper formed from recycled materials, this piece explores the fluid movement and interconnected patterns found in aquatic plant life and natural ecosystems.
Layered lines, organic forms, and rhythmic mark-making suggest growth, motion, and the continuous flow of energy through the natural world. The composition balances intricate detail with open space, creating a sense of movement while allowing the handmade texture… of the paper to remain visible beneath the surface.
Rooted in a tactile and environmentally conscious process, the work reflects my ongoing fascination with nature’s complexity, resilience, and quiet beauty.
