This mixed-media work is created using heavily textured handmade paper formed from recycled office paper and discarded materials. Inspired by patterns found in nature, the piece explores the quiet tension between structure and organic movement.
Layered surfaces, subtle impressions, and flowing linear elements evoke shifting waterways, winter landscapes, and natural erosion. The restrained palette allows texture and materiality to take center stage,… inviting a slower and more contemplative viewing experience.
Rooted in sustainability and hand-crafted process, this work reflects my ongoing exploration of humanity’s connection to the natural world and the beauty that can emerge through transformation and reuse.
