“Between Worlds” tells of a state of transformation – between reality and dream, nearness and distance, objectivity and abstraction.
A couple rests in a vividly colored landscape beneath a floating city. While the man remains firmly rooted in a representational world, the woman is already beginning to dissolve into geometric planes of color. Her form becomes the most visible expression of a transformation that continues throughout the entire image.…
Black lines increasingly disrupt the natural landscape, transforming it into geometric structures. White, circular traces of movement connect the sky, the city, and the figures. The spiral beneath the floating city becomes a symbol of transition—as if an invisible force were linking the different worlds.
Sun and moon, flying fish, architecture and landscape no longer follow any real logic. Reality and fantasy exist simultaneously.
