About this artwork
And yet yes! The picture is an optimistic vision of the poetic. The color woodcut is created by overprinting multiple panels (wood or plywood) using multiple colors. Each color is a printing process. Only with the last color does the picture unfold its effect. These works are printed with letterpress inks (oil inks) on a toggle press. Only after printing are the canvases stretched over a stretcher frame.
