Inspired by a Moschino fashion editorial, this portrait captures a serene, inward moment of quiet reflection. The figure’s peaceful, meditative expression beautifully counterbalances the playful, graphic energy of haute couture, creating a visual dialogue that invites the viewer to pause and find beauty in moments of stillness.
This work began as a digital… illustration, reimagined through intricate hand-enhancements to evolve into a unique, one-of-a-kind tactile object. The expansive, soft pink background is hand-painted with smooth acrylic layers, enhanced with fluid, metallic abstract shapes that frame the figure. To elevate the piece beyond a flat print, I meticulously hand-applied dimensional beadwork directly onto the surface creating rich, jewel-like textures that catch the light.
Coated with UV resistant spray varnish for longevity.
