About this artwork
Female Gaze is a study in perspective and transformation. Originally a digital illustration, this piece was reimagined through a "Couture" lens—a process akin to upcycling in fashion. By taking a digital base and layering it with physical, tactile elements, I’ve transformed the print into a jewel-like, standalone creation. It explores the power of the gaze, anchored by a signature embroidered heart that symbolizes the pulse of the creative spirit.…
This is an enhanced mixed-media print where digital art meets traditional hand-craft. I hand-painted the background with textured acrylics and added flowing metallic gold accents for a sense of movement. To give the piece a 3D, "couture" finish, I integrated meticulous hand-beading and a custom-embroidered heart directly onto the surface. These physical interventions ensure that while it begins as a print, it ends as a unique, one-of-a-kind object.
Created on heavy paper and coated with UV resistant spray varnish before embroidery.
