About this artwork
The moment the human spirit stops observing the cosmos and begins to perceive itself within it. The emerging gaze represents an internal pilgrimage through "nurtured chaos"—a transition from the physical world into a vast, psychological aether. It suggests that our consciousness is the bridge between the earth and the infinite, turning the the unknown into a living, vibrant garden of the mind.
By working directly on raw wood, I’ve allowed the natural… grain to act as a collaborator in the piece. Through a process of staining, painting, and detailed drawing, the organic texture of the earth (the wood) is woven into the celestial imagery.
