About the Artwork :
"Sorelle dell'anima" is an expression of facets within and outward. Soul sisters as a methaporical idea of the alter ego, the I that is not you but still is also you. An extension yet a merging of One.
And of course soul sisters in the outer world who enrich our lives in whatever form and time they may come.
By working directly on raw wood, I’ve allowed the natural grain to act as a collaborator in the piece. Through a process… of staining, painting, and detailed drawing, the organic texture of the earth (the wood) is woven into the celestial imagery. This layering serves as a physical metaphor for our own existence: we are rooted in the material world, yet we reach perpetually for the stars.
The textures, grains and natural "imperfections" are part of the subtle charm.

Satin varnished and finished with matte wax for a natural yet protective finish.
