About this artwork
This is a local scene near my home in Ontario. It is a painting of a friend's farm during winter. There are three horses in the field. In the foreground is a large tree and fence and the snow in the painting reflects some of its colour from the sky. I imagined that it was just as the sun was beginning to set. It is painted on a birch panel and framed with a black float frame
