About this artwork
This is my interpretation of photos taken in the UK. I called it The Scenic Route. It is of autumnal fields, with a dark forest in the backgound and a bright blue sky. There is a gravel road in the foreground. The world of today intrudes when you catch sight of the modern road which cuts through the middle of the painting. It was painted in acrylic on a gallery canvas. The edges are painted in dark grey.
