About this artwork
"Mystic Moor" is my homage to the quiet power of the moor. I have captured the interplay of light and darkness with a reduced, atmospheric palette: warm gold and sepia tones meet cool blue-violet nuances. The reflective water opens up the view into the distance, while delicate grasses and isolated branches add dark accents. transitions, supported by clear contrasts. This creates a contemplative effect that both soothes and shapes spaces. For collectors, the work combines skillful lighting, mastery of materials, and a poetic atmosphere into a lasting presence. The work is part of my ongoing series on the beauty and protection of our moors. It was published as part of the high-quality book "Moor Whispers," alongside lyrical and scientific texts about moors.
