About this artwork
In my watercolor "Threshold of Light," I capture the still moment when winter forest and light meet. A snow-covered path leads deep into the dense woods, while warm sunlight breaks through the trees and bathes the snow in golden reflections. The cool stillness of winter meets the warmth of the light—a transition between tranquility and new beginnings.
I am fascinated by this liminal moment when landscape transforms into space and atmosphere. Using… transparent layers of watercolor, I consciously work with contrasts of light and shadow, cold and warmth, depth and atmosphere. This creates a work that makes nature, resonance, and inner peace palpable.
This original landscape watercolor appeals to collectors who appreciate contemporary nature art, light effects, and poetic forest landscapes. "Threshold of Light" invites the viewer to pause and open their gaze to a silent, luminous expanse.
