Like with all my Diving Paintings I absolutely adore and celebrate the beauty of diving. I like to show diving as an artistic, joyful and deeply esthetic happening. It’s not mere sports but a passion and a style of life. The design of the swimsuit is inspired by the art of Keith Haring. It underlines the artistry of her jump and gives a refreshing contrast to the realistic interpretation of the diving body. The interacting figures… show in a playful way the joy of diving and the communion between human and dolphin. It indicates the transformation of humans into dolphins and vice versa. It deepens the symbolic character of the work.
