About this artwork
In this work I explored the fascinating dynamics and beauty of diving into unknown depths. The vibrant blue tones of the water combined with the realistic depiction of the figure bravely jumping into the waves symbolize liberation and the invitation to face one's fears. The use of acrylic and aluminum leaf highlights certain elements and gives the image a shimmering finish that emphasizes energy and movement. This painting will create an atmosphere…
of courage and determination in any room.

« First I choose the subject, then my style. Every artistic style has its own strengths and possibilities. For me, the image itself is the focus. »
Arno Bruse is an experienced, award-winning German artist living in Berlin. His Pop Art paintings are influenced by the ornamentation of Klimt's paintings and the pared-down simplicity of the works of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol. Bruse's paintings are energetic, vibrant works that enliven both the viewer and the spaces in which they appear.
"Not just realism, but a deepening and expanding of reality—that's what I intend with my paintings. I'm always searching for that special moment: beauty, joy, movement. The image as a reflection of the intensity of the moment, detached from the real world. Not just a picture, but a sensual experience. Individual, tangible, unique."
