Bogdan Shiptenko is a contemporary Ukrainian artist born in 1994 in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine. He works primarily with watercolor, acrylic, and graphic media, focusing on figurative painting and urban themes. He holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts and has over 15 years of professional artistic practice, with more than 10 years of international sales.
Shiptenko’s work explores the relationship between people and the urban environment — architecture, streets, cafés, and the everyday rhythm of city life. His distinctive style combines expressive watercolor and dynamic multi-figure compositions, capturing both the energy of crowds and moments of quiet solitude.
A central part of his practice is the long-term series People on the White, which reflects on contemporary urban society, human routines and overconsumption set against minimalist white backgrounds.
