About this artwork
In this piece, I explored the interplay of chaos and order through vibrant acrylic strokes, merging abstract and figurative styles. My aim was to capture the dynamic essence of human interactions—cluttered, vibrant, and emotionally complex. This painting stands as a testament to the perpetual motion of life, highlighting moments of clarity amid confusion. Perfect for any space, it adds a burst of energy and a reflection on the depth of our social… existence.
Bogdan Shiptenko is a contemporary Ukrainian artist born in 1994 in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine. He works primarily with watercolor, acrylic, and graphic media, focusing on figurative painting and urban themes. He holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts and has over 15 years of professional artistic practice, with more than 10 years of international sales.
Shiptenko’s work explores the relationship between people and the urban environment — architecture, streets, cafés, and the everyday rhythm of city life. His distinctive style combines expressive watercolor and dynamic multi-figure compositions, capturing both the energy of crowds and moments of quiet solitude.
A central part of his practice is the long-term series People on the White, which reflects on contemporary urban society, human routines and overconsumption set against minimalist white backgrounds. Bogdan Shiptenko has participated in numerous exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad, his works are held in private collections worldwide.
