About this artwork
Painted in acrylic on canvas, the composition balances minimalism and movement. The restrained palette, punctuated by subtle accents, draws attention to the relationship between proximity and… isolation. The circular format reinforces the idea of unity, continuity, and repetition — a visual metaphor for collective existence.
This work invites the viewer to reflect on how we move among others: connected, observed, and often alone at the same time. A contemporary piece that brings both calm and depth, making it a refined addition to modern interiors.

Shiptenko’s work explores the relationship between people and the urban environment — architecture, streets, cafés, and the everyday rhythm of city life. His distinctive style combines expressive watercolor and dynamic multi-figure compositions, capturing both the energy of crowds and moments of quiet solitude.
A central part of his practice is the long-term series People on the White, which reflects on contemporary urban society, human routines and overconsumption set against minimalist white backgrounds. Bogdan Shiptenko has participated in numerous exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad, his works are held in private collections worldwide.
