About this artwork
In this watercolor painting, I aimed to capture the joyful spontaneity of winter play. Each figure is portrayed in mid-action, conveying the vivid, fleeting moments of joy as children alike engage with the crisp, chilly air of winter. The scattered composition mirrors the unpredictable, playful dance of snowflakes, inviting the viewer to sense the laughter and lively chatter. This artwork celebrates the universal spirit of winter fun, bringing a…
burst of life and warmth into any space it resides.

Shiptenko’s work explores the relationship between people and the urban environment — architecture, streets, cafés, and the everyday rhythm of city life. His distinctive style combines expressive watercolor and dynamic multi-figure compositions, capturing both the energy of crowds and moments of quiet solitude.
