This photo is part of my series "Dance Evenings".
Like all the images in the series, it was photographed using the ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) technique. When the dancers move and I simultaneously set my camera in motion, motion blur and ICM combine to create images that transcend the visible. Body, rhythm, and light intertwine to form abstract traces of movement.
