About this artwork
Hundreds of Dalmatian pelicans gather every winter at Lake Kerkini in northern Greece – magnificent, yet silent figures in a vast landscape shaped by water and light. With a wingspan of almost three meters, they are among the largest flying birds in the world. Their slow movements seem almost timeless, as if they themselves were part of the rhythm of the lake.
