About this artwork
In this work, I construct a mask from lines that are articulated on a background composed of letters. I work with the image as an intersection between form and language, where the structure of the face emerges from a typographic field.
The lines define the mask as a system under tension, while the letters act as matter that supports and permeates the image. I'm interested in how language ceases to be merely reading and becomes a visual body.
