In "The Homebody," I explore the retreat into the private "in-between space" as a reaction to an overstimulated external world. The character remains strictly confined to their persona and perspective—a conscious turning away from the pressure of social expectations toward self-imposed isolation. I visualize this state as a process of individuation (Jung), in which the mask of the "homebody" type becomes a sanctuary of inner stillness.
